DSCRC Mission Statement
Desert Spring Community Resource Center strengthens the community by connecting Southern Nevada neighbors with food, resources, and hope. DSCRC is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Las Vegas. The organization helps individuals and families access practical support during difficult seasons.
Through Good Choice Food Pantry, DSCRC provides supplemental groceries and available essential items by appointment. Guests can choose foods that fit their household needs. This client-choice model supports dignity, personal choice, and care.
DSCRC also helps neighbors find support beyond food. When next steps feel unclear, the team provides information and referrals to trusted community resources. These may include basic needs, housing, healthcare, transportation, employment, family support, and other stabilizing services.
Staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners help carry this mission forward. Together, they help reduce food insecurity, strengthen local connections, and support Southern Nevada families with dignity and hope.
